Subway- 2 people working. 1 making the sandwich for the man in front of me and they are having a friendly conversation about what they've been up to lately, the other just standing at the register and then going into the back and then back to the register, making eye contact with me as I've been watching him make 1 sandwich for about 4-5 min already. Finally the kid walks away from the register and offers to make my sandwich and proceeds to say "we are out of a lot of things". Why didn't you tell me that 6 min ago while I was standing here? Out of Turkey, Bacon, Ham, Lettuce, pickles, pepperchinies and onions, probably out of other stuff, but I stopped asking. Then I got charged FULL PRICE for a Roast Beef sandwich with tomatoes and jalapeños as that's all they had!!!! If they're not going to have at least 1/2 of what goes on a sandwich they shouldn't charge FULL PRICE! And the kid must have put 1/2 cup of mustard on because it was all over everything and couldn't taste anything else. They're gonna be out of mustard soon now too!

Better than most other options within 100 miles. TA Travel Centers are huge, and you can always count on ample bathroom stalls. The convienence store is also really well stocked with the usual food and drinks, but also carries a ton of hard goods like dog toys and treats, GPS units, tape and bunjees, clothing, tools etc. There is a Subway in this center and a restaurant. Bathrooms were pretty gross during my visit, but still better than most smaller gas station bathrooms around.

I had a trl problem the lights would not stay on so I came to the Rawlings T A shop. I was greeted with awsome customer service, they address the problem and did an excellent job explained what was wrong, than fixed it, I have been in this industry for 30 years I have been to TA's all over the United States, there are very few that I would recommend, I highly recommend the Rawlings TA #234 they did the repairs in a timely fashion I was in and out all in about 1hr 30 mintues, I had walked over to country kitchen to eat and by the time my food came I received a call from the shop letting me know they found the problem and I could return to sign the paper work and get rolling. Thanks Dannie and the young man the person that did the repairs, you guys were awsome great costumer service, I will return again when in the area and need repairs. Thanks again DMD and MWK, sincerely Ms. CM

Stopped in for a quick bite. Nobody on the Cafe side seemed to care that we were there. Once they realized - 10 minutes later, we still didn't have our coffee. Walked out of the Cafe, past the pathetic looking buffet, and went over to Subway. The staff at Subway were more interested in talking with the person in front of us, and watching each other, than making sandwiches. After five minutes we left, and backtracked one exit to Penny's Diner - a clean establishment, fully staffed, where we received fast/efficient service, good diner food in large portions, made fresh right before your eyes! My recommendation is to just avoid TA for food.

Refused to let us park in back lot even though it was empty. Roads closed on 80 East and West bound. Will never fuel at a TA again!

Be careful when you go in here. Keep an eye on your wallet. I was thinking about getting the buffet. Figured it must have lobster and filet mignon on it for the price they were asking. But it was just cold meatloaf and greasy fried chicken. I was going to get a small pint of ice cream. But it was priced like a gallon. I told the manager maybe they needed to remove the numbers from their pricing in the store. He looked at me kind of confused. I said yeah, just put the letters FU on there instead. These are Beyond high truck stop prices. This is like the cashier saying screw you when they take your money

By far the worst TA I have ever been to. Wanted to get single serve cereal, they didn't even have plastic spoons. In fact they hardly had anything.

The TA is the local truck stop.
They have a Subway.
They have a tchotchkey store, which is actually pretty cool.
They have the worst food in Rawlins. Yuck. And the restaurant smells like poop.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
