Country pride: Jessica and morgan are some decent waitresses. The morning cook Al is an excellent cook bro. He works mon to friday. Bro deserves a raise. Blue rare sirloin was on point. Nothing over or under cooked. Seasoned to perfection. I always tip what i would want to b tipped! Pretty decent experience. Nonetheless thanks. Ate twice here in the same day

I gave you ONE STAR due to, once again, restaurant hours being erratic. (I would've given you NO stars but this review wouldn't post otherwise!!)

Having frequented this location for years the service/food & hours have gone down the hill very rapidly.

A few months ago drove out from Cheyenne to an early dinner - shortly after 4 p .m. to find the restaurant CLOSED even tho the website said they were opened until 8 p.m.

When they FINALLY reopened, again, the hours were as mentioned but the service & food were not good at all.

Today - when wanting to get out of Cheyenne due to Frontier Daze crowds etc arrived there at 4:20 p.m. to have the gate closed & a sign saying the restaurant was, once again, on reduced hours.

It's easy to see they need more help but if the company would shell out a better pay for the folks maybe, just maybe, they'd stick around & do a better job.

I've learned my lesson - even after they raised prices, once again - they can't be counted on even after checking the website etc.

Won't be going there again any time soon!

I Would give this zero starts but I can't..... I walked in and grabbed a 2.19 dollar item and went up to the counter and waited for 10 mins when there was one person ahead of me and when until it was my turn a fat girl came up and said "219 pennies" so I give here a five and then she goes behind the counter then hand me change and I I'm in a huge rush to get to my reservation and there now a big line. She took three dollars from me and even tho that does not sound like a lot she probably does this all the time to people who look young like me.... NEVER coming back and if I do I will shove a mouthful at her!!!!

Ok I mainly checked into these places because as weird as this sounds, truck stops on long ass trips are somehow homey to me.
You walk in and see all kinds of people! They have almost everything you need especially stuff to make you happy after hours and hours on the road with one of the hardest people to travel with lol.
I loved them this time (again) because on my last cross country road trip, I decided to buy magnets in every state we stopped in. I started it late and started in Wyoming last time.
This time, I started in Georgia. I basically got the same state magnets hahahaha, with the exception of a few new ones.
This place was FANTASTIC! Right away I was like OMG I love the vintage look! I am a huge fan of historical places or places like this that was built in the 70s of 80s and has never changed lol. I could be wrong but the 80s vibes were so strong with this one.
The place was, Ima say this in my Bette Davis voice (totally just gave myself away lol) but one of her famous lines "WHATA. DUMP!"
Because it was kinda lol. It was so old. Did this bother me? Hell no! Not to mention it had PROBABLY the best souvenir section. They had an entire little area carved out for all kinds of kitschy shit and several state souvenirs to choose from. They didn't have the state I was in tho. BOOOO! Then again, this was a common occurrence in many truck stops unfortunately.
I did buy magnets for states that I was either already in and couldn't find them while there or states I was headed to lol. I'm such an old woman hahaha!

Bottom line, this place was awesome. If they had 80s and 90s music playing it would have been the best truck stop ever hahaha!
The staff was fantastic too. I asked for help from one girl and she was like "I should t suggest this but try...." and I was like ..why say it like that? She's like...because fn hate that place, I used to work there and ugh omg..."
Right away I was like..:LOVVVVE this person! Haha!
I added the pics to show you the vintage looks. Nostalgia is big with me. Probably because the current state of the world/country is so depressing.
So visiting places like this takes you back to an easier time in life if just for only like 10-15 mins.

Not sure what else to say. It's a truck stop lol. If you're traveling through the Midwest, chances are you will stop here or see and be like..."hmm, looks rundown, let's go to the next one. Let's go to LOVES! Of Flying J!"
Sure those are ok, they're everrryhwhere but places like this, ones that have survived the equivalent to the way Walmart took over, (LOVES and Flying J being the Walmart's for those who couldn't catch on lol) but for places like this that have survived a corporate takeover in TruckstopLandia, are the places that should be visited. Who cares that they are vintage, and 'lived in'
That's what makes them so much better! Plus you get to get help from employees that are REAL people! The best kind!

      Safe Travels, Yelpinnies!

      Cheers!

Lovvvvve the 80s vibe! Looks like an old airport

Worst place I've ever been! Staff are ridiculously rude, sitting on counter first guy just told me he didn't know the comdata code had to make a whole ordeal to get someone to read it to me off the paper on the counter, then had to wait an hour to be able to fuel because of "shift change" also paid for reserved parking on app but they apparently don't have reserved parking so no parking when got here!

Bad business going on here. Every single stall in the men's restroom was out of toilet paper.

One star for their service center. Called ahead about waiting time and was told there isn't a waiting time. Arrived and was told they will not be able to take me until 8am tomorrow morning. I am an owner operator. I do not get pay to wait. It was a waste of time to call them. Do not go here unless you have time to sit and wait for hours

I got a bolt in my tire from the parking lot, and the manager gave me a flat air fix-itafter 15 minutes of telling him that no I did not get it on the road, I got it in your parking lot. Stopping here cost me $100 for a new tire, fuck this place.

When I came to the TA service location 4000 I-80 Service rd Burns, WY 07.24.2021 I made a check in and a person on the front desc put me in a waiting list for the oil change. I was told to wait not more than 2 hours. It was 10 am. At 12.30 pm I came again because haven't received a call back and the woman on the reception told to wait for one more hour. After 1,5 more hours I came again and she asked to wait a little bit more. At 3 pm she told it's gonna be a couple of hours more. It happens every time I want to make a service in your departments. You are waisting the trucker's time, it's not a good business. Other companies don't work so. Truckers don't waste your time and stay away. They disrespect you, you business and your time. They will lie every time you come for a service to TA.
