This place is amazing. Down to the experience of checking in to setting up RV. The camp host who checked us in very friendly and knowledgeable about surroundings of the towns. The cart guy hands down a professional Rv Parker. He guided us and with one hand on truck and walking me through the process we parked our 36ft Palomino Columbus one shot! He knew the ends and outs to directing. The KOA pool and other amenities was plentiful. Not a bad spot to park what they give you is great. Will visit and stay many more times. Jim in Florida.

Shhhh.... A surprise hidden gem in the foothills of SC. My husband surprised me for our anniversary weekend our 1st camping trip of the season at the KOA in travelers rest, SC Memorial Weekend. It was wonderful even though it rained the entire long weekend.
We checked in late Friday and they had everything left for us. We were on site 36 with the deluxe patio. Has swing, Adirondack chairs, for pit and backs up to creek.
Love the amenities, everyone was so friendly, clean sites, quiet, just total relaxation. Great food in this area too. Honestly, I was happy just being in nature with my family. Just a wonderful spotHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jun 21, 2023
We are relatively new to the world of RV cruising, so this was only the fourth campground we have visited. Compared to the other super large parks, this one checked off most of what we had hoped to find while enjoying our new hobby. The sites in Savannah and Jacksonville, although roomy and well appointed, lacked any charm, character, or shade. This forested KOA was quiet, clean and extremely comfortable. The concrete side pad, complete with a swing, table, chairs and stone fire ring made camping out comfortable and easy since we didn't need to set up any outdoor furnishing. The furniture was made of Polly wood, an expensive, durable and heavy product, that is perfect for harsh environments and constant use. By investing in such high end quality merchandise, it was apparent that the owners really wanted to provide the best for their customers. The wonderful service and lovely grounds just added to our experience.
The campground was easy to get into and had a very large gravel area near the end of the property that made it easy for us to make the all important turn to exit the park. For most restaurants and other stores and services, it was about a six mile drive to Traveler's rest. There are a few produce stands much closer that sold fruits, veggies, dairy products and items like local honey. We used our own private restroom and shower, so cannot comment on the state of their facilities. The only caveat was trying to go South on 25 after hooking up our rig to go home. Since it is a divided highway, longer vehicles may have difficulty finding an appropriate place to turn around. It wasn't pretty, and it took awhile, but we managed to find a location that was just able to accommodate our Ford 3500 and 41' fifth wheel. We would not hesitate to return to this KOA. If we could find more properties like this, we would be happy campers.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Kevin H.Evans, GA1228Dec 8, 2023
Very nice campground. Clean and tidy. Staff was great. The campground is pretty close to town, so you can get pretty much anything you want. Bathroom facilities are very clean. The WiFi is pretty spotty. Up, and down. And if you're relying on this to work, this may not be the best option. Although I understand you can pay a little extra for some sort of hotspot.

We found this place after booking a Harvest Host that turned out to be a small parking lot shared with a Dennys restaurant. We couldn't stay there so we searched around and found this place. Once they knew that we are KOA members, they pulled out all the stops. The staff was very friendly and helpful, guiding us to our site and helping us to back in just right. Special thanks to Jim. The campground is beautiful and full of great people. We're only staying one night, but we're on a west coast to east coast and back again trip, so finding places like this is very welcomed. Beautiful and comfortable.

Beautiful welcoming RV entrance that is tucked away in a relaxing and peaceful location with a moving creek. Upon entering the office I was greeted by Terri who handled my check in with kindness and efficiency. Our spot was perfectly level and we had lots of privacy. The individual bathroom/shower was clean and accommodating with great hot water pressure. The spots are all well placed and their new Covered Wagon section is brilliant for families. The park is well maintained and they have you covered with doggie bags. A great place to stay if you are in the Travelers Rest or Greenville area.

What a hidden gem this is! A wonderful KOA tucked away but close to everything. Each site backs up to a winding creek with lots of shade trees and room. The bathroom was stellar, clean with ample room, but only one shower stall in the women's side. The staff was also wonderful, helpful and pleasant. Overall the campground was quiet, peaceful. I would definitely come here again and highly recommend it.

If you enjoy staying near a busy road, listening to gunshots going off for hours, no wifi as advertised but they offer to let you can pay extra for Wi-Fi. This place is overpriced and the lady at the desk has no problem taking your money for all of this. I would not recommend this place unless you're just traveling through for a one night stay.

What a beautiful KAO Holiday site! Beautiful grounds, gracious size spaces, very clean and kepted up. There is a little creek running right behind just about all spaces for that little bit of ambiance and the owner/host is very gracious and on site.
Don't let the secret out, but they should be charging at the higher end of the spectrum, but they are not. Beautiful location, quite, clean, accommodating, priced perfect. Win/Win!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
