Pakistani senator shares photo of Hitler, saying ‘the world knows why he did what he did’

An Oxford-educated Pakistani senator has sparked disgust after sharing a photo of Adolf Hitler while suggesting the world now knows “why he did what he did” by murdering millions of Jews.

Afnan Ullah Khan posted the since-deleted portrait of the Nazi leader in military uniform, including a swastika armband, on Sunday.

“At least now the world know, why he did, what he did,” the politician wrote with a misspelled “Gaza_Genicide” hashtag.

His post was quickly condemned by many online — including some displaying a Palestinian flag  — before being removed from X for violating the social media site’s rules, according to the Jerusalem Post.

One woman, who identifies herself on X as a senior fellow at King’s College in London, slammed the tweet as “shameful content.”

“No violence is justifiable be it against Palestinians or Jews,” Ayesha Siddiqa posted. “Standing up for [the] rights of Palestinians doesn’t justify such comments.”

But in a post replying to Siddiqa, which Khan reposted, another woman defends his remarks.

“First of all he didn’t say Hitler’s act is good or bad in the tweet,” the woman writes.
