The great nebula complex in the southern constellation Corona Australis at around 420 light years away. It's a beautiful, feature-rich nebulosity field containing several reflection nebulas (NGC6726, NGC6727, NGC6729, IC4812) embedded in a much larger field of dark nebulosity that extends well beyond the field-of-view shown here. The cherry on the cake is the line-of-sight globular cluster (NGC6723) included in the framing (top right). The small background galaxy PGC 62667 can also be seen at the bottom of the frame.
