The Tribbles have taken over the ship! On Saturday, June 15, James Cawley and the Star Trek Set Tour are proud to present famed author David Gerrold! David is the creator of Tribbles and the writer who brought The Trouble with Tribbles to the screen. He will be doing tours and greeting fans. See the ship with someone who was there when it all began – and bring a Tribble home!
David Gerrold tour ticket holders may attend a free screening of The Trouble with Tribbles hosted by David on the bridge. You must purchase a David Gerrold tour ticket. Screening will immediately follow your tour. Please plan on 2 hours.
The CAPTAIN – William Shatner Returns!!!!!
On July 12, 13, and 14, The Captain, William Shatner returns for his first visit in 2024!
The Star Trek Set Tour is also excited to welcome David Tilotta to our William Shatner event in July! David is the author of Star Trek: Lost Scenes, an officially licensed reference book based on the collection of cut footage, retained by Gene Roddenberry, which generated the Roddenberry Vault home video release. Aside from the publication of “remastered” behind-the-scenes imagery, the book is also notable for its catalog of known deleted scenes from Star Trek: The Original Series.
David will be sharing some unseen footage from The Cage with us!
David Tilotta is a Chemist by day and a Trekkie by night. He is a professor at North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC. A frequent collaborator with graphic artist Curt McAloney, their Star Trek work has appeared in Titan’s Star Trek Magazine, Star Trek: The Original Series 365 by Paula M. Block with Terry J. Erdmann, and on CBS’s official Star Trek website (startrek.com). David operates the StarTrekHistory.com (restoration) website.

The Star Trek franchise was awarded the Institutional Award at the 84th Annual Peabody Awards, announced on 9 May 2024. The Peabody Awards honor the most compelling and empowering stories released in broadcasting and streaming media during 2023. On the announcement, Star Trek was lauded for “delivering joy, wonder, and thought-provoking stories since the 1960s.”

The Star Trek Set Tour is excited to announce our brand new ticket, Cosplay Adventure Tours! Starting on May 21, 2024 find yourself in the episode, acting and interacting with Original Series™ characters!!!
Wear your uniform and prepare to interact with Original Series™ recordings throughout the ship! We will provide the scripts for you to act out your Star Trek dreams! Our tour guides use your phone to film you and take photos as you interact with 5 different stations throughout the ship, including the transporter. These are your memories to keep and cherish.
