really staggering figures wouldn't you say? How much money does one person need? seriously. and just want exactly do this mr. wenig give back? I'm litterally at the point of no return - the peasants need a little income wenig - you can't take it all forever.

Even though Wenig is running Ebay into the ground with his determination to make the Chinese Ebays future, he is so overpaid that its not even funny.  Ebay is losing both Sellers and Buyers to other sites because nobody knows  what they are doing other than find out  more ways into their Sellers pockets, rather than to look imder tje

Im not sure why anyone is surprised that hes an over paid dolt - alot of CEOs are.

They have great college degrees but rarely know anything about what their companies do or how they run.

As an aside, the 119K employees dont do much either - eBay is just a fancy website, so you see me shedding any tears for them and how "underpaid they are".

A full %50 of eBay employees from GRIFF on down (and up (good old Mary Hubris isnt worth much either) are dead wood. eBay would have an OUTSTANDING quarter if they let them all go.

Most of eBays employees are CS people overseas whom he pays nothing to any way .......

No matter Devin Wenig gets paid, eBay will still not improve, as selling things isnt what eBays "job#1" is - selling advertising and making deals with singular big sellers (deal of the day banners) IS.

The median of the annual total compensation of all of our employees, other than Mr. Wenig, was $119,562.

Since there are no doubt a bunch of other very high paid managers, we all know the Median of the regular employee is WAY less than the stated median. So if you exclude those high paid managers, just imagine how much higher that "152 times" actually is.

Sales on eBay have never been so dismal, and search results so sparse.

The whole corporate world is full of elbow rubbers. There is no way in a logical world any of these people are chosen to run a large business. Its just full of brotherhoods doing each other favors. Completely controlled, completely anti trust, and at odds with common investors ( ie you and me ) and at odds with morals and ethics.

I don't care how much a ceo gets paid, but in a rational world, such huge sums would be earned.

What long-term performance would that be? I guess no one on the Compensation Committee heard about the 1% growth last quarter (which was probably being generous).

Your failure on eBay has nothing to do with who's the CEO, it's what you;re selling and at what price.

Did anyone see Ray Dalio on 60 Minutes Sunday evening in the episode "The Wealth Gap, a National Emergency"?   Great episode.  Worth finding online and listening to his thoughts.

Right now we are headed (if not there already) to a becoming a nation of oligarchs.  We need a pendulum swing.

I imagine tool, that you are. And yes, any Ebay Ceo that continues to do stupid things will be hated. There is zero difference between donahoe and wenig. zero. Same stupid goal of choosing what shows and what doesn't show, same restrictions on who can make how much. These types of policies are what is killing Ebay's growth.

All the ceos thus far are chinese shills.
