Find All-inclusive Resorts in Cancun

This was our first visit to Royal Sands. It was amazing. Really loved it. Here’s my Cole’s notes: - check in was so slow, and we were exhausted from a crazy early flight. It took over 90 minutes to check in and we were so cranky! Terrible first impression and we were so worried! -after the check in, everything else was amazing! -food was great, exactly on par for a 4 star resort -as expected, a few dinner spots were reservation only, and they were all great. Buffet was also really nice, lots of authentic options and lots to keep my picky kids fed. -service was exceptional. We did the regular all inclusive with no perks, and we were treated extremely well. -we felt safe at the pools and on the beach, even when leaving our pool bags while grabbing lunch. -never an issue finding a pool seat, even when waking at 8 or 9 am -room was amazing! Double Murphy bed, king size. It was better than many city condos! -there was surcharge for many food and drink options but we didn’t feel obligated to use them, we stayed very basic, no extra charges and felt comfortable asking or clarifying which items were included. - our kids, 6 and 7 had a great time in the kid pool. And other patrons were family forward, even if they didn’t have kids. -pool bar opened at 11am, which was totally fine with us! Closed at 8ish, but at that time the pool was empty anyway. The sports bar was open late. Highly recommend. Perfect 4 star family all inclusive.

Stayed here for a week with a small baby. From the positive: cleaning lady was truly the best! She did amazing job and made towel animals every day for my baby. Servers at the restaurants, bars, beach - truly amazing! Thank you for making my vacationing with a small baby easier, she loved all of the guys and gals! Beach - beautiful, clear water, soft sand, no sea weed; you have to ask for an umbrella, but the guy will bring it to you in a minute. What I didn't like: The front desk people aren't very attentive. I much rather ask other staff for help, if needed. In room food service - no options whatsoever! And options they had were not tasty. Coffee always watered down and lukewarm. Food - I'd say it was just okay. For dinner it seemed like there were plenty of options, but barely anything good to eat. For lunch - it was just horrible (salty, fatty, all kept outside, so guacamole was always bad and veggies were all soft from heat)! From the restaurants we went to Mexican and that was awful. Decided not to go to another restaurant since having bad Mexican food in Mexico is extremely disappointing. No outside play area for the kids, haven't seen any kid groups outside lead by staff like in other hotels. Extremely loud almost all of the time. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation this hotel isn't it. There is day and night entertainment, the music is loud and not the best.
