Personal Statement
I have been playing baseball since I was five years old and love the sport. I would be blessed to continue to play baseball at the college level and work hard everyday to improve my baseball skills. I played JV baseball for my 2A high school as a 7th and 8th grader and was named the best offensive player each year, batting over .400. I transferred to a 3A school my freshman year which was more competitive and again led the team with a .429 average. I consider myself an above average hitter but I am always striving to get better and take batting lessons weekly. I know I can improve.
I am not the most talkative person but very coachable and want to learn. I know the value of hard work as academics does not come easy for me and I need to work very hard to maintain good grades. I know I can contribute to your program.
