Members of the Clarksburg Water Board were updated on the work that is happening at the dam removal site during their meeting Tuesday afternoon.

The water board also talked about possibly taking responsibility for the operation and management of Stonewood's water system. Board President Paul Howe said they're talking about this because there could be cost savings for Stonewood residents and others throughout the region with the spreading out of costs. It could also keep Stonewood residents from having to pay a possible 15 percent increase on their water bill.

The water board is going to send a letter to Stonewood City Council to try to set up a meeting.
