Justin was very helpful and super pleasant with a beautiful energy. It was my first tatoo and he made me comfortable and educated me along the way. He is super talented and does beautiful shading and fine lines. I am so pleased and thankful for the wonderful care provided.

Everyone here is really talented . My most recent experience was with Josh . He's very detailed and took the time to make sure placement on my half sleeve was centered and took great care of my skin entire session which I appreciated a ton !Great at detail work ! I'll be back to finish my sleeve with him soon . Love my new tattoo!

I almost have a full sleeve created by Gavin Hayes here at Revolt tattoo. Not only is he an amazing professional, but I enjoyed just talking to him during the process. He is not heavy handed, not light, just right. Gavin and the other artists here are the best in Simi Valley, likely all of Ventura County, and they're also extremely interesting and fun people. He probably got tired of my motor mouth, but he was so kind, and I thoroughly enjoyed the conversations we had. As I looked around at some of the other artists work, I was impressed by everyone's style and ability. Each one is unique and sincerely gifted here. Book an appointment, and you will be more than happy with the results and their company.

Best tattoo studio ever! Staff is super friendly and inviting. Environment is comfortable and laid back. They work with you to make sure you are satisfied with the artwork. They are great with any style you bring to them. Highly recommend for any and all your tattoo desires.

I booked an apt with the co-owner Gavin for the 15th. I took the day off work only for him to tell me he accidentally double booked and that we would need to reschedule. We rebooked for the 8th at 4pm and he texted me the day of an hour before that he wouldn't be able to do the session due to a tattoo running late before me (that's two days requested off work burned). On top of all this he told me that he would sketch up my art and send me reference pictures of it before my apt date on the 8th which never came, (see attached texts). He never mentioned refunds being non-refundable when asking for it initially and then denied my request for mine back after he failed to show me my drawing and failing to make my apt. I ended up losing my $200 deposit and two days taken off work due to his lack of organization and unwillingness to do the right thing. He offered to reschedule again FOR A THIRD TIME and use the deposit as store credit. I told him that I just wanted my deposit back and no hard feelings but he denied it even though it was totally his fault. I attached some texts for proof for anyone who doesn't believe me. I was never rude or mean in any way while communicating with him and he still wouldn't return my deposit. DO NOT COME HERE!!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! There's plenty of other better tattoo shops around well worth checking out instead. My recommendation is MDs tattoo studio.

Today I had the pleasure of being tattooed by Gavin Haynes. I brought in a rough idea of what I wanted as a memorial to my best friend. He turned it in to a masterpiece, the most beautiful work I have received. Not only is he an incredible artist, but also just a cool personality to make the time go by even better. Can't wait for even more tattoos!

I was very disappointed with my tattoo. I got my tattoo done by Justin and it was a simple heart and NOT what I wanted. Definitely getting this one removed

My daughter has had several tattoos done at Revolt by Riq and Nomi .. they both do awesome work so when my son kept talking about getting a tattoo I knew what I was going to give him for his birthday. I surprised him by telling him we we driving to get his present, he was confused until we pulled up in front of Revolt. He knew exactly where we were and got a big grin on his face. We met with Nomi and he explained what he envisioned, a vintage baseball girl, and she was able to draw exactly what he wanted. Last week he got his first tattoo and is so excited to show it off. Thank you so much for doing a fantastic job Nomi .. we will be back in a couple of weeks for a Mother Daughter tattoo!
