What if I threw the refund card away because I didn’t recognize it?
Please call the Money Network team to request a replacement card at 800-818-3474.
Do I still need to activate my refund card?
Yes, please activate the card via an automated system at (800-818-3474). Once activated you can use the card to spend anywhere that MasterCard is accepted.
What is happening?
Since we recently launched the ability to use any debit or credit card in Google Wallet, we are discontinuing the Google Prepaid Card. Google Wallet itself is not changing -- only the Google Prepaid Card will be impacted.
When will the Google Prepaid Card be discontinued?
All Google Prepaid Cards will be discontinued on October 17, 2012. Any remaining funds can only be recovered by requesting a refund.
Will my Google Wallet continue to work?
Yes, all your credit and debit cards in your Google Wallet will continue to work normally. The only change is that the Google Prepaid Card has been removed from the Google Wallet app as of October 17th.
I have funds on my Google Prepaid Card. What should I do?
Request a refund for any remaining funds left on your Google Prepaid Card.
How long will I have to request a refund?
Online refund requests will be honored until June 1st, 2013. After this, users that still have a balance on their card will have to contact Money Network directly.
How do I request a refund?
You can request a refund by filling out the request form on this website. You will have the option of requesting a prepaid card or a check. Click here to fill out the form
I have a question about promotional funds for a device purchase (such as the LG Viper), and I haven't received funds yet.
We are no longer accepting refund requests for promotional funds associated with device purchase as previously stated in our announcements. If you have not contacted Money Network to check on the disbursement of your funds prior to October 17, 2012, we will not be able to disburse promotional funds.
How do I know if I have remaining funds on my Google Prepaid Card?
We will email users to let them know if they have remaining funds. You can also contact Money Network directly at 855-896-0693.
How long will it take to get a refund?
If you requested a refund before December 7th, 2012, you will receive your refund by
December 22nd, 2012.
For refund requests made after December 7th 2012, the following timelines will
apply:
If you select the physical prepaid card as your refund option, delivery will take
7-10 days from the date you submit your refund request.
If you select the paper check as your refund option, delivery may take up to 8 weeks
after you submit your refund request.
What if I submitted a refund before December 7th, but haven’t received my refund after December 22nd?
It’s possible that the information provided was not sufficient to process your refund request. Please check your information and submit an additional request.
How do I check on the status of my refund?
If you have already submitted a refund request, please do not submit an additional request. You may contact Money Network directly at 855-896-0693 for additional status information.
What if I had two devices, with two Google Prepaid Cards?
Please fill out a separate refund request for each device.
What if I don’t have my device? Can I still request a refund?
Your device is needed to verify you as the owner of these funds. If you no longer have the device (because it was lost, stolen, or you've since sold it), you will need to contact your carrier network to request the MEID and IMEI of your device. If you've previously loaded funds onto the Google Prepaid Card, Money Network may be able to verify your account without the MEID and IMEI, however, we do not guarantee that we will be able to verify your identity.
What if I can't access my Google Wallet application?
If you can't access the Google Wallet application, you may submit a refund request, but we can not guarantee your refund. Make sure you enter the full email address that you used for your Wallet account. Enter a "0" in the Device ID field, and make sure to enter the IMEI or MEID field.
I have a Nexus 7 tablet, what do I enter for my device ID?
If you have a Nexus 7 tablet and no Device ID is shown, you must call Money Network directly at 855-896-0693 to request a refund.
Wallet
