A few days after you've submitted your gadget to the iGoogle gadgets directory, you'll be able to view weekly signed in iGoogle user numbers on your gadget's page. You can also gather more detailed statistics about your gadget's performance by using a logs analysis software application, like Google Analytics.
If your gadget's usage numbers are lower than you'd like, consider promoting your gadget even more. Troubleshoot and make sure that your gadget works on a variety of different browers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari).
Respond to user feedback.
On your gadget's iGoogle gadget directory listing, you'll also find user feedback for your gadget. Read through these comments regularly and make improvements to your gadget based on user suggestions.
The more useful and interesting people find your gadget to be, the more popular it will become, and the more success you'll have in driving visitor traffic back to your website.
