Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in operations or business management, vendor management and quality assurance.
- 10 years of experience using analytics or applying project management tools to address business problems.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing vendors that provide software, hardware, telecom and other IT products and services.
- Experience in project management and vendor management with the ability to execute, multi-task and delegate efficiently.
- Ability to manage multiple IT vendors across many Google stakeholder groups simultaneously.
- Ability to think globally and strategically, influencing change across a complex organization.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand terms.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overarching Keep The Lights On (KTLO) vendorization strategy for the HR application portfolio, ensuring operational excellence through the establishment of key performance indicators for uptime and incident response.
- Serve for strategic HR technology vendors and ensure alignment on delivery Service Level Objectives (SLOs), security, release schedules, and long-term technical roadmaps.
- Partner with finance and procurement to provide technical oversight on vendor agreements, license utilization, and service consumption, ensuring optimal value and technical alignment.
- Lead response to major system incidents within the KTLO portfolio, acting as an escalation point. Drive the post-incident review (PIR) process and own the resulting problem management road-map to ensure permanent fixes.
- Provide regular updates on KTLO program status, vendor performance, and risks to all stakeholders. Lead change management efforts related to KTLO program within the engineering teams.
