Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C/C++).
  • 3 years of experience designing data pipelines (ETL) and model data, for synch and asynch system integration and implementation.
  • 3 years of experience analyzing data, database query (e.g., SQL), and creating dashboards/reports.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working in a data science environment, creating feature stores and supporting feature engineering and model automation needs.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, big data tools and distributed computing.
  • Experience with creation and usage of graph and other non-relational databases.
  • Ability to easily break down ambiguous problems and propose impactful data modeling designs.
  • Ability to analyze data sets and convert them into information that drives business decisions.

AI-driven tools and systems can help automate repetitive tasks, improve decision-making processes, and unlock valuable insights from large volumes of data. As a Data Engineer, you will take on big data issues in an agile way. In this role, you will use an investigative, data-driven approach to drive a deep understanding of our fast changing business. You will build data pipelines and tools that enable data scientists, Machine Learning Operations engineers, and analysts. Through feature engineering and wrangling, you'd create automated data extracts and production ready Machine Learning feeds that provide scaled insights for both the data science team and their users.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $124,000-$178,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Build data pipelines, reports, best practices and frameworks that enable program managers, analysts and other stakeholders across the organization.
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in developing pipelines, investigative insights including data integrity, test design, analysis, validation and documentation.
  • Design and develop scalable and actionable solutions (e.g., dashboards, automated collateral, web applications) that tell a story and provide insights to help our advertisers grow.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to understand feature/tooling gaps and innovate on behalf of our customers.
