Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Certification in US Carriers.
- 10 years of experience working with cellular field and product testing.
- 7 years of experience managing and operating a team on testing and certification.
- 5 years of experience in carrier field testing and certification.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience managing cross-functional/team projects.
- 10 years of experience in product testing and benchmarking.
- 5 years of experience in consumer electronics.
- Experience in cellular modem.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.
The Pixel Carrier Certification team is responsible for certifying Pixel products for global carriers. Our team focuses on lab testing which includes PTCRB/GCF, carrier specific testing, Radio Frequency Over-The-Air, field and industry certifications. Team members rely on their technical knowledge in wireless communication to manage certification projects for Pixel devices.
Responsibilities
- Manage a team distributed across different geography.
- Manage overall field and product testing and certification for US carriers while developing goal and strategy for field and product certification.
- Define and drive product test strategy and testing to evaluate product performance to exceed customer expectations.
- Oversee field and product certification test requirements and validate testing reports.
- Define and implement field and product test carrier certification requirements across development teams, technical account managers, carrier partners.
