Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience in consumer supply chain risk management (e.g., Trade Secrets Protection).
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience managing risks within the consumer electronics supply chain, with a focus on product security and pre-launch leaks.
- Ability to navigate through ambiguity, manage and coordinate multiple project assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments.
- Ability to analyze problems logically and make rational data-driven decisions.
- Excellent executive reporting skills, with the ability to manage data to identify trends and root causes of process/systems inefficiencies.

The Platforms and Devices Risk Management team’s mission is to provide enterprise risk management services to a fast growing hardware and software business with a significant supply chain and operations focus. The team’s focus is to deliver a systemic approach to risk that serves to strengthen operational excellence, support understanding and reporting of existing and emerging risks, and helps define mitigation activities for better decision-making.
As a Risk Management Program Manager, you will partner with business and cross-functional leaders to develop relationships and engagement strategy, lead the agreement/decision making process, and develop/maintain ongoing relationships with the executive leadership team and cross-functional teams.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Design and deliver predictable program communication plans in collaboration with program stakeholders, including focused communications by stakeholder type.
- Determine phasing and metrics associated with program lifecycle that address continuous improvement including Resource Stewardship (effective deployment of machine and people resources) in collaboration with program stakeholders, including near- and long-term objectives.
- Determine and collect data required to execute and govern programs. Independently maintain project trackers and status reports. Identify and execute on program tasks including managing dependencies.
- Execute change management requirements that are identified by program stakeholders.
- Build relationships with program stakeholders, including managing expectations of program stakeholders and ensuring they have the insights they need to make decisions.
