Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technical domains, such as Cloud, Technical Selling, or contributing to a technical sales organization.
  • Experience in one or more Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform (CNAPP) platforms such as SCC, Wiz, or Palo Alto Networks Prisma.
  • Experience in secure multi-cloud environments (e.g. Cloud Computing Platform, Google Cloud) or Hybrid Cloud Architectures.
  • Experience developing technical assets and content supporting Go-to-Market (GTM) motions.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in one or more Google Cloud Areas of Practice: Security, Infrastructure, or Data.
  • Experience contributing to program management or operational support for Secure AI implementations.

About the job

As a Solutions Manager, Security, you will be responsible for building Solution and Sales play content that enable sellers to execute across sales stages. You will be implementing Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy and driving the creation, development, and delivery of highly technical assets and solution architectures that enable the global sales and field engineering teams to deliver the GTM financial plan. You will require core expertise in Cloud Native Application Protection Platforms, Secure Innovation, Secure AI, and multi-cloud security.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $168,000-$249,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document solution assets that are part of security sales plays, with a focus on CNAPP, Secure AI, Secure Innovation and multi-cloud security.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that all technical practices and messages for the security practice align to our GTM sales and product strategy.
  • Execute the release of the solution and sales play per the operating model.
  • Manage the cross functional collaboration across all of the stakeholders, such as Sales and Product. Decide when to refresh some or all of a solution based on product and other priority changes.
  • Contribute to the overall reuse and solution granularity function of the organization. Drive solution enablement across field sales teams.
