Product Design Engineering Intern, 2026

Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in Taiwan for the duration of the internship program.

This internship is intended for students in their penultimate academic year, who are pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Candidates must have an expected graduation date in December 2026 or 2027 and be available to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during 2026 summer.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Product Design, or a related technical field.
  • Internship experience, work experience, educational, or personal project experience with product design, or with Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools (e.g., PTC Creo, ProE, or Unigraphics NX) and mechanical simulation tools.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with thermal modeling, testing of air and liquid cooling systems.
  • Experience with Unigraphics NX/teamcenter.
  • Familiarity with mechanical design of plastic and metal components, printed circuit boards (PCB) and flexible printed circuits (FPC), and acoustics used in consumer electronic products.
  • Familiarity with electromechanical assemblies, manufacturing techniques, fabrication techniques, and rapid prototyping.
  • Proficiency in CAD, tolerance analysis, and structural finite element analysis.
  • Available to work full time for 10-12 weeks outside of university term time. In their penultimate academic year or returning to a degree program after completion of the internship.
