Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 4 years of management experience with direct reports.
- Experience with Data Center Infrastructure or IT Infrastructure.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with Network, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or other Engineering.
- Experience with supply chain and logistics.
- Large scale project management and process improvement experience in the telecom or data center infrastructure space.
- Strong foundational knowledge in data center architectures and physical network components, and awareness of emerging technologies in the ML/IT Infrastructure space.

As a Program Manager Lead at Google, you lead complex, multidisciplinary projects. You plan requirements with customers (mainly stakeholders) and own projects and capacity delivery for the operations teams. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks (escalation management), and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders. Your projects often span multiple locations, time zones, and it's your job to keep all the stakeholders coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.
The Data Center Operations Fleet PMO facilitates and meets customers' needs by enabling Google’s Global Data Center Operations to deliver capacity securely, reliably and optimizing fleet lifecycle operations.
Our mission is to facilitate Google’s Global Data Center and server operations team. We drive operational excellence through the consistent and predictable delivery of fleet deployment, operations and maintenance programs. Our team serves as Data Center PM authority on fleet deployment, operations programs and project delivery. We maintain full oversight of the overall fleet lifecycle portfolio. We keep Data Center and Global Server Operations leadership team and the overall TI & Data Center community informed.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Leader management of the service delivery team, responsible for pre-deployment, deployment and end of life delivery of capacity (IT infrastructure) across Google data centers.
- Lead and present business reviews, program level meetings, and manage escalations (coordinating cross functional stakeholders) with senior management and leadership teams.
- Coach and develop the team (including individual career development), set team level direction, OKRs, expectations and responsibilities, providing guidance and feedback on individual team member's execution and performance.
- Deliver effective execution at scale involving multi-project programs, day to day site operations engagement and escalation management.
- Act as a global lead for key programs where required that deliver significant business impact, expected to work collaboratively with globally distributed contributors (across multiple time zones).
