Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with product development, program management, project management, professional services or engineering management.
  • Experience with chips and embedded systems used in Mobile devices.
  • Experience working in the Consumer Electronics industry, involving executing technical programs with external partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Material Engineering.
  • Ability to work in a fluid environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

As Senior Silicon Implementation Technical Program Manager, you will work with the Silicon Platform Team that is responsible for the delivery of the infrastructure IPs and fabrics that are used by the SoC development team. You need to have an understanding of IP and SoC delivery in a silicon team. You bring expertise across silicon Architecture, Register-Transfer Level (RTL), Design Verification (DV), Physical Design (PD) to enable silicon productization. You drive execution of multiple concurrent IP and subsystem development projects, this includes coordination of deliverables across multiple geographies, managing overall program schedules at Power Performance Area (PPA) and quality, negotiations with stakeholders and escalation when needed to get decisions made and dissemination of program status across the team. You will have excellent communication skills and relationship building across stakeholders is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineering teams to track and help with the development of custom silicon projects, help engineering teams communicate project status to internal stakeholders across Google.
  • Create processes to track and execute on cross-functional deliverables and receivables. Work with partners on product development schedules, dependencies and budgets.
  • Manage external partner and vendor management.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Drive program reviews, build schedules cross-functionally, keep program milestones on track.
