Technical Program Manager, Search Ecosystem Tools

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in new AI search ecosystems.
  • Experience in engineering execution enablement especially measurement tools.
  • Experience managing technical programs from initiation, and advanced stakeholder management cross collaborating with Quality and AI Engineers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience coordinating and scheduling multiple projects throughout the entire project life-cycle.
  • Experience in quality engineering problem-solving.
  • Experience in cross-collaboration and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

In this role, you will partner with 20+ engineers and 2 Program Manager's based in Tel Aviv and drives alignment with Knowledge and Information Ecosystem Program Manager's, AIM/AIO team, and Search Intelligence Creator teams to deliver Search, Knowledge and Information Ecosystem Program Manager's, AIM/AIO team, and Search Intelligence level impact. You will be driving clear goals, alignment, and prioritization with new metrics (e.g., creator metrics), driving engineering execution and problem solving, and working closely with engineering and program manager partners developing technical plans to explore new ecosystem metrics. You will be expected to drive Cross-Product Area alignments with US timezone partners and stakeholders therefore you will require flexibility with working hours for the Search, Knowledge and Information level impact.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for running Search Console and Google Trends program management excellence from setting goals, driving planning, setting up accountability mechanisms, and most importantly enabling and landing new capabilities and metrics in the tool with timelines and roadmap.
  • Partner up with teams across Search and cross-functional partners including Search Relations, gUp, legal/partnership, webmaster support, marketing and SiteKit API team.
