Strategy and Operations Analyst, GTM Business

  • 2 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital or private equity role, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
  • Understanding of business strategy, market dynamics, and the elements of successful organizational design.
  • Ability to analyze data, extract insights, and support problem-solving through data-informed recommendations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to apply standard methodologies to execute project tasks.
  • Ability to provide analysis within a short turnaround time.

About the job

The Go-to-Market (GTM) Operations is a global team that serves as the strategy, operations, and product commercialization partner to GBO. The team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business delivers strategic growth and operates effectively.

This team is responsible for setting GTM strategy, shaping priorities and resources to accelerate business growth, and commercializing the next generation of Ads products (from representing the customer to advocating for product requirements to ensuring teams are equipped to drive customer growth, product adoption, and revenue health at scale). This team plays an important role in building excellent GTM infrastructure from tooling to enhancing GBOers business skills to ensuring flawless execution and operations against desired business outcomes and priorities. GTM has teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as in global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

We seek a proactive and strategic Senior Analyst to join the APAC GTM Analysts team. If you thrive on identifying structural opportunities, translating complex operational data into actionable strategies, and leading initiatives that enhance business rigor, Google invites you to explore this role.

Responsibilities

  • Dive into product usage data to uncover product adoption metrics, trends, headroom and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and refine customer segmentation models to drive targeted product marketing strategies and tailor user experiences. Provide data-driven insights to support the development and refinement of product roadmaps and GTM strategies.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and develop innovative solutions to address challenges within given project scope.
  • Contribute to the creation of reports and presentations that communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations and present to executive audiences.
  • Partner effectively with team members and stakeholders, from local, regional and global teams, build strong working relationships to achieve common goals.
