Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- Experience leading network infrastructure projects on an engineering team.
- Experience managing software integration programs or direct integration engineering.
Preferred qualifications:
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in networking hardware and software development and deployment including NPI product development, network switch design, network fabric design, and successful deployment.
- Experience in leading and successfully launching network fabrics or switch products, from development through deployment.
- Experience working with large-scale distributed systems, particularly those relying on networking infrastructure.
- Experience with synthesizing complex material for large and small audiences via executive communications, presentations, dashboards, and documentation.

As a Technical Program Manager, you will increase efficiency, reliability and performance of Google’s compute machines and the workloads that run on them, give Google developers the best possible experience using our platforms, and accelerate the pace of product innovation across the company. In this role, you will manage network infrastructure solutions and data center networking, supporting critical Google products like AI/ML, Cloud, Search, Ads, Maps, and YouTube.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Lead highly cross-functional systems programs (hardware and software) focused on networking technologies (switches/fabric) from inception to deployment, ensuring predictability, quality, and tangible value for our customers.
- Align team members and stakeholders through clear, widespread, and transparent communication.
- Utilize technical judgment, especially in networking hardware and software (switches/fabric), to drive project delivery, lead technology reviews, guide technical proposals, and build consensus across cross-functional teams.
- Track deliverables and incrementally deliver customer value.
- Contribute to improving Google's on-time delivery of network capacity with high availability and maximum efficiency.
