Business Systems Analyst, HR Engineering

Minimum qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in system implementation projects (e.g., requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working with cross-functional teams to define requirements and manage technical projects.
  • Experience with data analysis, and domain critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting/dashboarding.
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management with technical and non-technical groups.
  • Experience with SQL, methods of system integration, data architecture, understanding of programming languages and in depth analysis.
  • Experience with Knowledge Graph, Data Governance, Data Cleanup, Data Management, Data Lineage.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive solution design.

The team identifies time-consuming internal processes and then builds solutions that are reliable and scalable enough to work within the size and scope of the company. You listen to and translate Googler needs into high-level technical specifications, design and develop recommended systems and consult with Google executives to ensure smooth implementation. Whether battling large system processes or leveraging our homegrown suite of Google products for Googlers themselves, you help Googlers work faster and more efficiently.

With your technical expertise, you build business applications and influence the design of features that improve the reliability of our applications and systems. You also define the scope of technical projects and oversee execution.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand their processes and data requirements to architect robust solutions that meet their objectives and specific outcomes.
  • Work with end-user groups to define project KPIs and metrics. Collaborate with engineering teams, functional teams and other teams to design, build, deploy and support solutions using Google’s internal technology.
  • Partner with internal business teams to define business processes and associated system requirements.
  • Organize and manage work cross functionally to drive predictable delivery.
  • Lead systems implementation projects end-to-end (requirements documentation, systems design, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution).
