- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience in testing and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with storage technologies.
- Experience with Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) and investigative workloads.
- Experience in building and maintaining infrastructure software in a distributed environment.

Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design of GCS client software (SDKs, connectors), with a focus on creating a seamless, low-friction developer experience. Define the technical roadmap for improving usability and drive adoption of GCS features.
- Define and lead the strategy for benchmarking, engaging analysis, and performance optimization across all GCS clients.
- Drive the debugging of systemic issues and translate the insights into architectural improvements.
- Lead design and code reviews, establish engineering excellence. Ensure the team's output is architected and maintainable.
- Set the technical standard for the team by mentoring other engineers for debugging, performance optimization, and writing customer-centric client code.
