Strategy and Operations Manager, Financial Services, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders to execute projects.
  • Experience in technology or cloud computing.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with Cloud AI (e.g., GenAI, Agents), GTM models, and the enterprise tech industry.
  • Understanding of one or several financial services sub-verticals (e.g., banking, capital markets, payments, insurance) including key trends, customer needs, and applying this knowledge to evolve our GTM strategy and advance execution.
  • Ability to thrive in a changing, ambiguous, and dynamic environment, balancing priorities and making decisive judgments.
  • Ability to translate insights into action with a data-driven mindset, and facilitate stakeholder decision-making to solve business problems and unlock new opportunities for growth.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.

As a Strategy and Operations Manager, you will drive business growth and field productivity through partnerships with cross-regional and cross-functional teams, as well as develop relationships with stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000-$267,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Organize the design and implementation of business cadence to deliver effective and efficient operations and results. Own the development of processes and programs to drive operational accuracy.
  • Identify, define and track metrics to ensure progress against business objectives. Own reporting frameworks, using core tools infrastructure.
  • Identify areas of collaboration to deliver business outcomes. Partner effectively and align with cross-functional teams on multiple programs, processes and business objectives.
  • Develop an understanding of Google’s products and business areas. Grow knowledge of the industry and its ecosystem, customers and trends to identify opportunities and risks on our Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy.
  • Apply knowledge and expertise as a subject matter expert to make informed recommendations and decisions related to a product, area or service.
