Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in program management, sales operations, or management consulting.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders (e.g., running periodic stakeholder engagements or steering committees).
  • Experience with quantitative analysis and building user journeys.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a technical or quantitative field.
  • Experience with data sets, synthesizing insights and recommending actions from data.
  • Experience prioritizing deliverables and making appropriate trade-offs when determining an action plan.
  • Experience analyzing and manipulating various datasets to derive business insights, with SQL or data analytics platform experience.
  • Experience leading operational initiatives across various functional domains and geographies.

About the job

As a Customer Engineering Process and Systems Manager, you will be at the forefront of defining, designing, and leveraging the various systems and underlying processes to support the technical sales community. In this role, you will drive the planning, collaboration, alignment, implementation planning, and the ultimate delivery to the field and supporting functions of critical updates and improvements for Customer Engineering processes and the underlying systems to make our technical sellers more efficient and effective.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $158,000-$235,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate workshops to process and plan business requirements, gathering inputs to inform current and future state plans.
  • Collaborate with partner teams and subject matter experts to understand productivity blockers and build out key user journeys and high level business requirements.
  • Engage with business transformation and engineering project managers to ensure projects and deliverables stay on track and follow the required operating framework.
  • Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders using a variety of communication channels that is clear, concise, and informative.
  • Partner with the Change Management team to ensure that changes land well across regions and track success metrics periodically.
