Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience within a business to business sales-related/business development commercial role.
  • 15 years of experience in sales and marketing, including leadership in technology, Internet, or media industries.
  • 5 years of experience in people management and leading geographically-distributed sales teams.
  • Ability to travel for customer meetings and training.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing managers and fostering career growth for early-career sellers to executive sales professionals.
  • Experience partnering and influencing cross-functional teams, executive management, and external C-suite stakeholders.
  • Experience with systems thinking including implementations, test/learn scenarios, and establishing/adapting systems and processes to scale.
  • Ability to synthesize information and identify trends across an account portfolio, consisting of multiple industries and ranges of spend.
  • Ability to build and mobilize innovative business growth strategies with operational aptitude.
  • Excellent thought leadership and recognized as an authority in digital marketing solutions.

As Director, you will work with the U.S. Scaled leadership team to set strategic objectives that move the business forward and run the day-to-day operations of the business. You’ll take an analytical approach to sales management by leveraging data to drive performance and influence customer buy in. You'll also lead an early career high-performing account team by helping them develop critical sales skills and inspiring them to reach for ambitious goals. Your knowledge of the small business landscape and digital media, combined with your sales leadership, shapes how new and existing clients/agencies will grow.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$315,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Create an inspiring outlook and strategy for the team, including critical initiatives and Key Performance Indicators, while ensuring that the resources are in place to exceed goals and utilize the full power of the Google Platform.
  • Hire, retain, inspire, and grow a passionate customer-focused sales team that is successful engaging with high-level client leadership teams.
  • Deliver against business goals and drive incremental business growth to accelerate year over year growth.
  • Own and strengthen executive-level relationships through key C-level meetings, events, quarterly reviews, and speaking engagements.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment with key partner teams, including Mid-Market Sales counterparts, Marketing, New Business Sales, Finance, Central Strategy, and Large Customer Sales vertical teams.
