Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience working in a creative discipline (e.g., writing, filmmaking, video editing, design, art direction, photography, etc.).
- Experience with Prototyping and Coding.
- A portfolio of creative work displaying experience in Technology design.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of UI/UX best practices.
- Ability to work in ambiguity and learn new technologies in a fast-moving, Research and Development focused environment.
- Ability to be at the forefront of AI innovation and create work that is both seen and remembered.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
About the job
As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, ever-changing environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. You will work with a deeply cross-functional team and inspire a team of vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be equally comfortable making; rolling up your sleeves and designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping; showing, not telling. Above all, you will inspire and lead by example by making the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the Google Marketing brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward.
As a Creative Technologist on the Brand Studio team, you'll prototype interactive demos, experiment with technologies, and collaborate with a team to bring innovative ideas to life. You will contribute to concepts, communicate ideas and solve problems with code. You will require a foundation in front-end development (JavaScript, HTML), back-end development (Python, node.js) and some experience with AI technologies.
A conversational AI tool that enables users to collaborate with generative AI and help augment their imagination, expand their curiosity, and enhance their productivity.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$206,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Prototype innovative demos, interactive experiences, and proof-of-concepts using our latest AI models and APIs working closely with product and marketing teams to understand new capabilities and translate them into clear, effective creative narratives.
- Develop functional, polished prototypes for product launches that demonstrate the value and capabilities of our AI across our models and early stage products.
- Employ a sense of design, aesthetics, and user experience to ensure all demos are engaging and inspires next-gen developers to want to try this new technology.
- Provide valuable feedback to the engineering and research teams on the usability and potential of new models from a creative and developer perspective.
- Research and experiment with the latest advancements in AI, creative coding toolkits, and interactive technologies.
