Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Program Management.
  • Experience in Program Management with a technology company.
  • Experience in stakeholder management.
  • Experience with content strategy and working with engineering teams.
  • Ability to identify, collect, and analyze relevant data to help drive informed decisions.

In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's product ecosystem. Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration and more). You will be working in the gUP Content Quality Team. The Quality team is responsible for the successful execution of transformational operational initiatives enabling the delivery of high-quality scaled support content.

As Quality program manager you will identify business needs, develop workflow based solutions and set strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the content creation process.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$191,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Drive complex, cross-functional initiatives to improve the content creation process and drive impact.
  • Partner with Support Delivery and Analytics to program manage quality framework, metric and reporting mechanisms.
  • Lead and activate continuous operational improvement efforts, and prioritize decision making by influencing key decision makers.
  • Provide subject matter expertise (leak prevention, findability, optimization) to working groups for ongoing projects.
  • Identify and document key, quality-aligned tooling needs across the business and secure resourcing.
