Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in technical sales, consulting, or solutions architecture.
- Experience delivering solutions, methodologies, technical assets and demos supporting Go-To-Market motions.
- Experience in or with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) technologies, such as Splunk, QRadar, Wiz, or Palo Alto Networks, for security detection and response operations.
- Experience with secure multi-cloud environments (including Google Cloud or similar) and Hybrid Cloud architectures.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience contributing to program management or operational support for cyber defense transformation.
- Experience in modernizing Security Operations Centers (SOC) through the development of threat-driven strategies, Target Operating Models (TOM), advanced detection engineering methodologies, or the optimization of Continuous Detection/Continuous Response (CD/CR) frameworks.
- Technical experience in Google Security Operations and competitive technologies (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, Wiz) for detection and response.

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.
You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.
The Global Solutions team is responsible for constructing all of the sales plays as part of the overall Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy within Google Cloud. The Security Practice Build team is a core part of this organization, responsible for managing the technical GTM strategy specifically for Security.
The Security Solution Architect will be a technical architect focused on developing and documenting prescriptive security solution architectures for global field consumption. In this role, you will be responsible for the creation, development, and delivery of technical assets and solution architectures that enable the global sales and field engineering teams to deliver the GTM financial plan. This role requires core expertise in modern Security Operations and multi-cloud security.

Responsibilities
- Develop and document technical assets and solution architectures that are part of security sales plays, with a focus on threat detection, response, and hybrid/multi-cloud security.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that all technical practices and messages for the security practice align to our GTM sales and product strategy.
- Create high-quality, practical content, including reference architectures, demos, and field enablement materials that support large-scale GTM motions.
- Support the technical practitioners in the field (e.g., Customer Engineers) by building best practices and technical patterns.
- Drive solution enablement across field sales teams.
