Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc).
- Experience with consumer e-commerce, payments or subscription businesses.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
- Experience with software development, data analytics, and SQL.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.

The YouTube Commerce Platform runs a platform of features and services that manage and sell all of YouTube’s paid inventory of one-time consumables and subscription services, including YouTube Music & Premium, NFL Sunday Ticket, Primetime Channels, Channel Memberships, SuperChat and SuperStickers, Jewels, and more. Commerce on YouTube is core to YouTube’s strategy, driving billions of dollars in revenue, and generating value for users, creators, and YouTube’s content partners.
In this role, you will deliver capabilities and experiences to enable teams across YouTube launch new paid products and features, and grow commerce in 100+ markets, on Youtube’s own and external billing platforms (Apple, Google Play, integrated billing), via dozens of payment methods (credit, debit, direct carrier billing, eWallets), and on numerous surfaces (Android, iOS, mWeb, Web, Living Room).

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Synthesize and lead product strategy from interactions with business stakeholders, legal, marketing, PR and paid product teams using the Commerce Platform.
- Identify opportunities and build proposals to improve the funnel for YouTube's paid products, prioritize thoughtfully to drive maximum impact.
- Write product requirements informed by incisive insights, in collaboration with Eng, UX, Product, Finance, and Legal.
- Ensure regulatory and billing platform compliance, and employ strong analytics to manage and communicate metrics including acquisition rates, conversion rates, renewal rates, LTV etc.
