Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in retail or online commerce.
- Experience in using analytical insight and employing thoughtful structures to solve problems and communicate solutions with excellent strategy acumen.
- Ability to have a level of comfort in escalating and presenting key issues and recommendations to executive leadership when appropriate, and demonstrated success in negotiating agreements all the way through execution.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to formulate and articulate business, financial and other points with partners as well as internal Google teams.
- Excellent Team player with a positive “can-do” attitude and a solution-oriented mindset.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with executive commerce leaders and relevant cross-functional teams to understand agentic product roadmaps and customize the commerce agentic narrative for a named set of retail and travel partners.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify the right partner stakeholders and ensure engagements are appropriately timed, complementary, and not duplicative, to any existing meetings.
- Own end-to-end partner experience to ensure agreement integration which includes negotiating and finalizing contracts, executing on account plans, pitching to partners/suppliers, resolving partner issues and advocating on behalf of partners.
- Develop partner strategy, including new partners and opportunity prospecting. Conduct partner/industry research and collaborate on product strategy.
- Identify key stakeholders with Ads, Large Customer Sales (LCS), Product, Engineering, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to build networks and contribute to cross-team collaborations.
