Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in education technology, or selling enterprise software, account management, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience managing a team, including setting team targets and strategy, and coaching individuals
  • Experience working in the Higher Education sector.
  • Experience executing go-to-market strategies and meeting or exceeding goals.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other transformative technologies.
  • Experience supporting technology adoption and change-management initiatives with customers.
  • Experience in building and cultivating lasting relationships with accounts.
  • Experience in building thought leadership innovative programs in education space.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will develop and execute strategy to drive Gemini adoption, leading a team of sales representatives with a defined portfolio of universities and colleges. This role requires established people management skills, passion for education, understanding of artificial intelligence, and proven ability to develop go-to-market strategies. Your primary objective is leading a team to foster meaningful adoption that demonstrates Gemini's value for teaching, learning, and research.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $165,000-$245,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the GTM strategy for Gemini in Higher Education in North America, owning key results for adoption within the region.
  • Set Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and manage performance and career development conversations with your team.
  • Foster executive relationships at key academic institutions in the region, acting as a trusted advisor and a trusted voice across the higher education sector.
  • Identify sector stakeholders that could be enablers to Gemini adoption in the Higher Education sector (e.g.,university associations; frameworks; leadership groups; etc) while leading thought leadership across the sector.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across Google (e.g. Cloud, Marketing) to ensure you have an aligned One-Google strategy to support the segment, synthesizing and relaying customer feedback to help influence cross-functional go-to-market plans.
