Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience with supply chain, manufacturing, and materials management and planning.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations.
- Experience in driving process improvement projects from idea to implementation and adoption.
- Experience in hardware product supply chain delivery through the entire life-cycle.
- Ability to successfully work across multiple levels including with executive leadership.
- Excellent communication, presentation and people management skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
The Global Capacity Delivery (GCD) organization delivers the compute capability that powers Google and the Google Cloud Platform. GCD plans, introduces new products, sources, builds, delivers, and returns.
Responsibilities
- Enable and optimize product on time delivery by actively managing material, capacity, and product specific levers.
- Program manage the sourcing of networking products at global contract manufacturers.
- Drive mitigation efforts to minimize liability of excess and obsolete inventory caused by demand reductions, platform transitions, and product moves.
- Scale product capacity, materials and processes. Drive improvement of product cost baselines.
- Collaborate with the manufacturing operations and planning teams to identify and drive opportunities to improve product on time delivery.
