Senior Leadership Technical Program Manager, Google Enterprise Network

  • Experience in the planning, design, and implementation of change programs.
  • Experience managing technical vendors and leading quarterly business reviews.
  • Experience in data analytics and presentation.
  • Ability to understand technical subjects and technologies and lead programs at a global level.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You're equally at home explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.

Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.

The Technical Program Manager (TPgM) for Google's Enterprise Network (GEN) supporting Workspace is a cross-functional role focused on ensuring the global office network is secure, reliable, and automated. You will define priorities aligned with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) to drive network product development, manage product life cycles, and improve operational processes. You will collaborate with Network Engineers, Software Engineers, and Operations teams to deliver new solutions, enforce standardization by eliminating "design/deployment snowflakes," and solve problems related to efficient security, and availability as Google deploys innovative technologies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of technical program managers working across the different regions that design and deliver network services.
  • Maintain our team culture with a focus on professional development and career growth.
  • Serve as an advocate for the customers, lead the customers, through engagement drive excellent levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Initiate, manage and execute third-party vendor engagements with responsibility for the delivery, monitoring and troubleshooting of network services, including facilitating any escalations requiring engineering assistance.
  • Serve as a global lead for programs that deliver business impact, work collaboratively with globally distributed contributors.
