Technology Practice Lead, Data Analytics

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of technical, customer-facing experience in the enterprise space, with a focus on data platforms, data warehousing, or analytics.
  • 8 years of experience leading and managing a technical, customer-facing team.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in architecting and leading the delivery of data transformation projects for enterprise customers.
  • Experience in developing and growing C-level relationships, acting as a trusted technical advisor, delivering technical pitches to the C-level and Board.
  • Understanding of the modern Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) landscape, including Data Governance, Lakehouse and Data Mesh architectures, real-time streaming analytics, and the application of Generative AI, Vector Databases, and Data Agents to solve enterprise data tests.
  • Ability to lead through influence; collaborating effectively across organizational boundaries to build relationships and consensus across geographically and culturally various teams.

In this role, you will be the Data Analytics technical leader for Google Cloud in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, responsible for bringing the experience and thought leadership to help set the goal, mission, and strategy for the practice. You will develop new solution initiatives and the materials to support them. You will work with a cross-functional group of stakeholders to define solutions and use cases that address the unique tests of the APAC market. You will help ensure the technical and commercial readiness of these solutions, drawing upon your expertise gained from navigating data transformations. You will mentor team members by sharing opinions regarding market conditions and technology goals, spanning modern architectures.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Build, lead, and inspire a geographically distributed, virtual team of Data Analytics specialists that provide deep technical expertise for the customers.
  • Collaborate with product management and solution management on ideation, incubation, and scale out of Data Analytics products and solutions.
  • Represent APAC customers, partners, and field to influence a data-motivated goal and direction for Technology, Solutions, and Use Case development at Google Cloud.
  • Mentor and develop Google account teams on value promoting for Data Analytics solutions.
  • Partner with the Customer Engineering leader, Product leaders, Business strategy, and executive leadership to ensure solutions alignment with engineering, product priorities, and go-to-market priorities.
