Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity or corporate advisory, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • 4 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
  • 4 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in managing relationships with executive leaders and cross-functional teams and working in a dynamic, changing, and ambiguous environment.
  • Ability to understand how different parts of a system or organization connect and influence each other.
  • Ability to own and drive projects separately, managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously, and create high-quality, executive-level presentations while effectively articulating ideas.
  • Excellent problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.

Google's leadership team hand-picks thorny business challenges, and members of BizOps work in small teams to find solutions. As part of this team you fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. Taking strategy one step further, you also persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation and check back-in to see the impact of your recommendations.

People Experience (PX) is the team at Google that delivers extraordinary, hire-to-retire experiences for Googlers in the moments that matter most. We deliver end-to-end global HR processes.

In this role, you will serves as a strategic advisor to members of the PX Leadership team and their organizations, driving business operations, creating and enhancing processes and governance, leading quarterly and annual planning, Objectives and Key Results (OKRs), and owning resource prioritization and management. You will play a crucial part in enabling strategic initiatives and driving operational excellence. You will be a key partner for the PX Excellence leadership team ensuring projects and change initiatives meet their objectives. You will be responsible for enabling the delivery of key functional priorities, supporting the leadership team in driving impactful outcomes and collaborating cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison between PX business operations, PX rise, and AI garage, managing stakeholder relationships and communications, including quarterly business reviews.
  • Partner with the broader PX team, partners, and leadership to facilitate decision making and ensure outward communications and work requirements land effectively with their audience.
  • Prepare and plan materials for executive stakeholder engagements, owning the operational cadence for executive forums and driving the business operating rhythm for PX rise and AI garage.
  • Lead a portfolio of special projects, working cross-functionally to drive initiatives from conception to completion.
  • Support PX rise and AI garage with business planning and ongoing resource management to ensure effective allocation for the biggest business impact.
