Account Manager, Retail, Large Customer Sales (English, Portuguese)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Portuguese fluently to engage with local stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • 1 year of experience managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.
  • Experience with Google Ads, Display and Video 360, Search Ads 360 or similar digital advertising campaigns and platforms.

Your knowledge of online media combined with the communication skills and problem-solving abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using the relationship-building skills, you provide client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the direction and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

Google's Large Customer Sales (LCS) teams are strategic partners and industry thought leaders to the world's leading brands and agencies. We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.

Responsibilities

  • Drive business and advertising growth by identifying opportunities and pitching aligned Google solutions across AI, Search, Display, and Video products to existing customer accounts.
  • Lead customer engagements to present new product opportunities, ensuring alignment with client business objectives and managing objections while evaluating campaign performance.
  • Manage full-cycle client and agency relationships, including recurring meetings, operational oversight, and collaborative campaign management across Search, Display, and YouTube.
  • Improve campaign performance and return-on-investment by quantifying opportunities, providing guidance and troubleshooting support, and applying expertise in Google's evolving advertiser products.
