Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products, and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 5 years of experience in leading technical project strategy, Machine Learning (ML) design, and optimizing ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
- 5 years of experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) concepts and algorithms, and experience in designing NLP solutions.
Preferred qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in backend data infrastructure and data analysis.
- 5 years of systems and distributed systems experience.
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data and AI solutions.
- Experience in modeling, API design, systems integration, system performance, data security, and processing and query engines.

In this role, you will be delivering projects to create and improve existing interoperable building blocks, system integrations and automation across DANI’s existing product suites. You will collaborate with teams in Zurich, Sunnyvale and Bangalore to integrate our product offering into smooth user journeys. You will have opportunities to shape the future of data infrastructure at Google, especially around the use of AI advancements and advanced data modeling. In addition, you’ll pioneer the use of AI in the development of data warehouse and data analysis at Google.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Provide thorough code reviews that ensure high quality, extensible and maintainable code. Report project progress, and communicate design and architecture options and decisions.
- Study our existing systems and produce system documentation. Device new development practices that make use of the latest AI innovations in software development.
- Suggest new or change existing processes and guidelines to improve engineering efficiency and quality for the team. Lead with high engineering and product excellence.
- Collaborate with engineers and team leads from different system components that DANI offers, and propose and prioritize feature requests for those components based on our integration work. Participate in roadmap and OKR planning discussions.
