Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program or project management.
- Experience across all phases of hardware product development from prototype to mass production to end of life.
- Experience managing the New Product Introduction (NPI) hardware build process.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience with Product Data Management/Product Life-cycle Management tools (e.g., Agile), with the knowledge of hardware Bill of Materials (BOM) structures and change control concepts.
- Knowledge of hardware development and manufacturing processes, vendor relations and working with Contract Manufacturers (CM) in Asia.
- Ability to work effectively, adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast paced, time sensitive and dynamic environment.
- Ability to demonstrate project management and supply chain management skills.

This includes bringing together the best of Google’s artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.Responsibilities
- Travel internationally to support hardware development builds and manage product labeling and build documentations.
- Manage the New Product Introduction (NPI) product build matrix (system configuration decoder), tracking material readiness, tracking engineering parallel paths and investigations, and product configurations.
- Lead a weekly build readiness meeting with the Contract Manufacturing team, and provide training to partners on related deliverables (how to read build matrix, allocation/shipment planning and applicable build matrix database training).
- Manage system allocation database, provide allocation direction, track system delivery schedules, ensure timely distribution to all product groups, and update device tracking tool.
- Coordinate with Partner Domains (PD) and Electrical Engineering (EE) teams to ensure Bill of Materials (BOM) readiness in Agile prior to builds.
