Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 3 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of direct product management of developer focused products, tools or technology, including engineering user interfaces.
  • 1 year of experience in leveraging AI/ML technologies to solve issues.
  • Experience executing and landing multi-year projects.
  • Experience with open source code management tools or Google’s developer toolset and ecosystem.
  • Experience working with and guiding engineers.

We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As the Product Manager, you will own and drive the idea, strategy, and execution of Chrome developer workflows. You will engage with developers and teams across the Chrome technology stack and weigh investments based on business and developer needs. You will also build developer workflow roadmaps to improve developer productivity.

We’re focused on making a better browser (on both desktop and mobile) to help users take advantage of all the web has to offer in a safe and secure way.Chrome is available across all major platforms — iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS. We also built Chrome as an open source project so the entire web ecosystem could benefit from the latest innovations in speed, simplicity and security.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $183,000-$271,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Increase productivity of Chrome developers by driving the strategic integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) across the entire SDLC.
  • Engage with users and customers to ascertain their needs and pain points, identifying potential solutions.
  • Lead the integration of Gemini CLI into development workflows and context management within the Chromium codebase. 
  • Work with senior leads and contribute to the product idea, strategy, and roadmap for developer products and tools, focusing on high-impact opportunities to enhance developer satisfaction and productivity.
  • Partner with Engineering, UX, and cross-functional teams to build, launch, and land tools, products, and services, as well as drive adoption to deliver end-user developer impact.
