Finance Optimization Analyst, Cloud Finance Optimization

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in core Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) responsibilities, Forecast, Close, Financial Reporting.
  • Experience with internal financial access tools.
  • Ability to utilize SQL to extract and manipulate data sets for financial reporting and analysis.
  • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels, and to navigate with ambiguity and grow in a changing environment.
  • Ability to automate and optimize financial processes using a combination of technical and investigative skills.

About the job

As a Finance Optimization Analyst for Data Strategy and Enablement, you will work cross-functionally to establish Single Source Of Truth (SSOT) data with a strong focus on implementing and managing role-based access for Cloud users and during different product lifecycle phases. You will become a subject matter expert for Cloud Financial data and join the Cloud Finance Data Stewardship team to streamline data access. You will be a driven and results-oriented professional with a passion for the best solutions. You will develop on identifying opportunities and solving complex problems, and you will take great pride in helping the Finance team optimize their processes and save valuable time. You will be accountable and will take ownership of your work, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.The US base salary range for this full-time position is $113,000-$162,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Become a subject matter expert for Cloud Financial Data and help analyze data access requirements for Cloud Finance and partner organizations.
  • Become a member of the Cloud Finance Data Stewardship Team and streamline data access and management for both Finance-owned and other Cloud assets that utilize Cloud financial data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to plan and execute business optimization projects with a strong focus on SSOT implementation.
  • Extract and analyze financial datasets using SQL to support the team with data reconciliation and SSOT development.
  • Prepare presentations and reports to effectively communicate optimization insights and project status to leadership.
