Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Experience in programming for Android, Java or Kotlin.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- Experience with writing scripts: Dremel, App script, etc.
- Experience with development of Android frameworks (Kotlin).

Responsibilities
- Drive complete development cycles of new Pixel Audio experiences projects, from requirements and design through implementation and establishing test plans.
- Architect and implement features such as new UI experiences for Now Playing app.
- Develop the team’s infrastructure by implementing new systems in areas such as telemetry, on-device diagnostics, and updatability.
- Collaborate closely with Android platform teams on enabling new generations of Pixel: SysUI, Settings, Android System Intelligence.
- Develop expertise in audio technologies as well as android framework code, and android app development.
