  • Ability to take ownership of work and effectively manage cross-functional initiatives across many teams.

Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust and Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

YouTube's growing global prominence and expanding user base provides unique issues and new responsibilities. The Business Analyst team for the YouTube Trust and Safety, Legal and Copyright Operations team is at the center of the important policy issues that shape the direction of our site and frame our stance on powerful themes like freedom of expression and online safety. We are looking for a tenured Program Manager with a passion for user safety as we scale against a rapidly growing set of initiatives to protect users across our platform. Leveraging problem-solving and organizational skills, this role will be a partner for Analytics and stakeholder leads to drive and land important initiatives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $126,000-$181,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Lead analytics initiatives to solve business issues across multiple levels in the organization. Govern the execution of initiatives while owning clear communication regarding progress, risks, and impact.
  • Measure the program’s risks and create mitigations for those. Identify resourcing, prioritization, discuss scope and timeline depending on blockers, risks and external factors influencing the program.
  • Design, implement and improve processes and tools that will help automate and scale the analytics team's work. Design metrics and create guidelines to ensure standardization.
  • Help develop and refine Business Analytics' strategy on specific programs; translate strategy into tangible goals, initiatives, and metrics. Use investigative skills to develop and scale metric proposals for high priority business objectives.
  • Develop clear and persuasive narrative and communications to influence executive stakeholder audiences and the organization at large.
