Minimum qualifications:

The Cloud SDK team builds client libraries for Google Cloud Platform APIs across nine languages, handling over 80% of all API traffic.
In this role, you will use code generation based on gRPC/Proto definitions to rapidly deliver hundreds of libraries, while also developing handwritten libraries for key services to ensure a premium developer experience. This infrastructure supports both Google Cloud Platform partners and other groups like Ads and Photos.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain high-quality coding standards, architecture and testing.
  • Evaluate and recommend tools, libraries, and major version upgrades.
  • Drive efforts to reduce technical debt and maintain application security and compliance.
  • Improve supportability, velocity and efficiency by effectively managing operational toil and delivering customer value.
  • Partner with the SDK Platform team to optimize code generation pipeline and releases.
