Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience working with data center or other mission critical equipment/environments.
  • 5 years of experience managing process improvement or construction programs.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in working with various stakeholders and teams.
  • Knowledge of large-scale mission critical facility’s electrical and mechanical infrastructure systems.
  • Ability to be detail oriented and have heightened capability of follow-through, update to conditions previously reported to business leadership.
  • Ability to manage and execute projects, and serve in a program role supporting back office operations.
  • Excellent requirements gathering, resource organization, task prioritization, scheduling, and goal attainment skills

About the job

In this role, you will be deeply involved in multiple strategic and tactical programs focused on improving the data center planning and execution. You will act as an interface between partner reporting teams, the Machine Learning (ML) Program Management Office (PMO), EXR, DCS, DCOPs, ESC, and a variety of other internal stakeholders to ensure improvement initiatives are supported. Additionally, you will organize and manage program initiatives through completion including successfully delivering and communicating to the business operational improvements, ML progress, and project delivery learnings/policy updates. These program initiatives will focus on the processes, procedures and tools within the programmatic end-to-end data center delivery plan and execution process of the hyper-scale capital improvement projects.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Proactively participate in and create a program initiative charter, work with internal stakeholders to strategize, plan, and prioritize objectives and success criteria, estimate task durations, and ensure schedules and dependencies are aligned and support those objectives.
  • Seek approval of the program initiative and support requests. Work with teams to identify resources best suited to participate and contribute to an initiative project.
  • Effectively manage, monitor and communicate progress, risks, and mitigations of the project initiative during the development and execution phase.
  • Drive meetings, track action items, and ensure forward momentum for DCDE leadership agreed priorities. Develop communication and roll out strategy to both management and execution teams including training, direct engagement and general awareness notifications.
  • Ensure all goals and objectives are successfully met with clear implementation strategy, quantifiable impacts to the site teams and recorded risks.
