Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience within a business to business sales-related/business development commercial role.
- 15 years of experience in sales and marketing, including leadership in technology, Internet or media industries.
- 5 years of experience in people management and leading geographically-distributed sales teams.
- Ability to travel 30% of the time for conferences, offsites, customer meetings and trainings as required.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience managing managers and fostering career growth for early-career sellers to senior sales professionals.
- Ability to communicate, present, and craft compelling narratives to influence internal and external technical and business stakeholders at C-suite levels and across teams at all levels.
- Recognized as an external thought leader in digital marketing solutions.
- Comfortable operating in the ambiguity of an ever-evolving product that operates at scale globally.
- Proven go-to-market sales leader with a demonstrated track record of executing against goals across account portfolios.
- Adept at building and mobilizing innovative business growth strategies with operational accuracy.

As Director, Mid-Market Sales (MMS), you will lead business growth programs in the Commerce sector, working with both established and digital-native customer companies. In this role, you will collaborate with the US MMS Commerce leadership team to define the vision, strategy, and operations for your organization, aligning with regional and global GCS priorities. You will cultivate C-level customer relationships to drive growth, and your team will manage business portfolios. You'll empower your team to operate with ownership, pursue ambitious goals, develop their skills, and succeed collectively.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $224,000-$315,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Create an inspiring vision and strategy for the team, including critical initiatives and key performance indicators, while ensuring that the resources are in place to exceed goals and utilizing the full power of the Google Platform.
- Hire, retain, inspire, and grow a passionate customer-focused sales team that is successful engaging with high-level client leadership teams.
- Deliver against business goals and drive incremental business growth to accelerate year over year growth.
- Own and strengthen executive-level relationships through key C-level meetings, events, quarterly reviews, and speaking engagements.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment with key partner teams, including MMS counterparts, Marketing, New Business Sales, Finance, Central Strategy, and Large Customer Sales vertical teams. Be an executive spokesperson for MMS at key industry events within the Commerce industries.
