  • Experience with the velocity of teams, products, and systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the product development lifecycle.
  • Experience with an ambiguous environment with the ability to frame problems and apply thought leadership to define solutions.
  • Knowledge of technology trends and issues.
  • Ability to communicate concepts across different audiences and levels of the organization.

Google User Experience (UX) is made up of multi-disciplinary teams of UX Designers, Researchers, Writers, Content Strategists, Program Managers, and Engineers: we care deeply about the people who use our products. As a UX Program Manager (UX Programs & Operations), you will combine expert project management skills with a passion for user experience to help your team improve the design of products that are used by billions of users. You’ll plan projects, define milestones, assess risks, create actionable insights, and ensure projects meet deadlines. You’ll harmonize the work of UX Designers, Researchers, Content Strategists, UX Engineers, and other UX disciplines, while also working closely with our Engineering and Product Manager cross-functional partners, to drive UX team objectives and create innovative experiences for our business, products, and users.

You will be accountable for the outcomes of multiple User Experience (UX) programs or projects of scope and magnitude. You will manage partnerships across organizations to set and align stakeholder expectations.Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the goal for operational excellence across UX teams to deliver the trust-building and counsel across projects, while driving collaborative relationships with stakeholders across program work.
  • Develop program roadmaps and establish user-centered project goals in line with goals.
  • Advocate for the establishment of UX metrics that drive a culture of user-centered development across program work.
  • Be accountable for identifying opportunities, scoping, planning, executing workflows, and ensuring quality deliverables for multiple programs.
  • Drive cross-organizational alignment on UX and partner team structure, priorities, and overall progress towards Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).
